2010 HASS Border Rally Championship Ready To Roll
The Committee of the Border Rally Championship is delighted to announce that Henderson Auto Sport & Spares (HASS) is to return as title sponsor of the popular clubman's championship for 2010.
The Raphoe, County Donegal company are specialists in building and restoring Mark 1 and Mark 2 Ford Escorts as well as providing an unrivalled range of spare parts for both road and rally use.
Speaking at the launch of the 2010 HASS Border Rally Championship, Ken Henderson, owner of HASS said he was delighted to sponsor Ireland's leading rally series for clubman competitors for a second year. "Our initial year in 2009 proved very successful in helping to promote our business, and we were delighted to be able to give something back to rally competitors. The Ford Escort is the most popular car in rallying, and is ideally suited to the Border Championship thanks to its class based structure. HASS is looking forward in 2010 to continuing our association with the Border Rally Championship to further develop this great series".
Chairman of the Border Rally Championship Patsy McIntyre welcomed HASS as sponsors of the series for 2010. The 2010 HASS Border Rally Championship is a class based championship comprising six events in Mayo, Monaghan, Cavan, Newry, Sligo and Donegal. Open to competitors in each of fifteen classes, the best four scores over the six rounds count towards the final championship positions.
